Refund Policy

Divesicily refund policy attempts to accommodate its guests’ needs as much as possible in accordance with the following guidelines:

A FULL REFUND will be issued to the guest in the following circumstances:

  • If cancellation by our guest takes place more than 48 hours prior to schedule start of dive trip or course.
  • In the case where cancellation has been made by Divesicily due to weather condition as explained below or for any other reason.

WEATHER CONDITIONS: If the weather on the day of your diving trip / open water dives of a course prevents us from having a safe and enjoyable experience you will be informed that the trip is cancelled or of the need to change the diving trip to another day.
Please note that in the event of light rain without strong winds or big waves we will NOT cancel any dive trips, as it does not prevent us from having an enjoyable and safe experience.

NO REFUND will be issued to the guest in the following circumstances:

  • In the event of a guest being absent at the scheduled start time of the diving trip / course.
  • In the event that any guest cancels their tour after the 48-hour notice period prior to the scheduled start of the program.

Diving course refund of un-used portion of the course
Multi day Diving Course refund policy allows for cancelation without penalty at the end of each day of the course for complete refund of the portion of the course that has not been completed at that time.

Please note that the above guidelines are what you should expect as worst case scenario. Divesicily will do everything possible to keep cancellation / amendment costs to a minimum. Each cancellation case will be individually evaluated by our management team to determine if there were any conditions that will warrant full refund.

Payment Condition:
In order to get our 10 to 15% discounted early booking rate, a deposit of 10% of the tour, diving courses or any services value is required. The deposit is not refundable
To make a valid reservation a deposit payment is required

We are accepting payments in cash on site, through PayPal gateway with PayPal account or VISA card. , 9 pm minimum 1 day before the tour.

Early booking rate is available for guests that have completed their reservation and made a deposit minimum of 14 days before the start of the program (for dive trips or dive courses). Dive package early booking price is only available for guests that have completed their reservation and made a deposit minimum of 4 weeks before the start of the program, Balance due for the diving program will be due on the first day of the program.

Guests that select to make web advance booking reservation without advanced deposit are required to make arrangements for a making a payment in full 24 hours before the program starts. Balance due for the diving program will be due on the first day of the program.

Dive Destinations Tour schedule is subject to change without any prior notice in accordance with weather conditions for your safety. If Divesicily knows in advance that the weather on the day you would like to go diving most likely will prevent us from going to the dive destination as schedule, we will advise you as soon as we know and let you decide if you like to change the dive trip to another day or cancel the trip for a full refund. Searobin Dive Center cannot be held responsible for adverse unforeseen weather conditions, involving rough seas and poor visibility.

Waiver of Liability
All divers must read, fill out, and sign a copy of Travel and Excursions Liability Release and Assumption of Risk agreement before diving services can be provided. Please review the contract with legal counsel and family members prior to booking. Additional waivers may be required for those divers undergoing training, depending on the course requirements imposed by PADI

Divers Certification and Equipment
Only certified divers may participate in scuba diving activities, unless they are enrolled in a scuba training program and under the direct supervision of their certified Instructor. All scuba divers must accept full and complete responsible for themselves, their actions, and their equipment.

Divers may elect to use their own gear, or arrange to use our equipment. Regardless, divers must inspect their gear prior to each and every dive, and they must be responsible for the proper functioning of that gear. In addition, divers must have a dive plan that addresses the issue of possible in-water equipment failure. All divers should understand the fact that every piece of equipment is capable of failure, and they must be prepared to respond accordingly.

Responsibility and Liability
Divesicily, its officers, employees, agents, and contractors are not responsible or liable for any injury, loss, accident, damage, delay, omission, irregularity or nonperformance occurring in connection with these arrangements. The client understands and accepts all risks associated with any and all activities, including both land based and water activities, air travel, car travel, swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, and boating. Divers acting irresponsibly can have an adverse impact on their fellow divers and the diving community. As a result, we will not tolerate unsafe, illegal, or irresponsible behavior.

Divesicily offers included pickup service from your hotel to the pier and on the way back from the pier back to your hotel from Giardini Naxos, and Taormina area.

Areas Castelmola, Letojanni, Capo dei Greci, Crystal sea resort, Fiumefreddo charge additional 15 euro each way per group (not per person).

Lost or damaged gear
In case of lost or damaged gear through irresponsible or inappropriate use through our customers, we will charge a wholesale price of damaged / lost item.
